Rebecca has ample experience as a flute teacher, instructing students ages 8 to 65 years old, from beginner to advanced levels, in individual and group settings. 

​

As a teacher, Rebecca is very responsive and flexible in her teaching methods and energy level to adapt to what she feels would be most effective for the student. She understands each student has different passions, learning styles, and ability levels, so she is sure to tailor the lessons to fit each individual's needs. She always strives to make the student feel comfortable, and really enjoy the learning process. In teaching evaluations, she has been commended for her enthusiasm, clarity, and her ability to create a positive, productive, and welcoming learning environment. Rebecca is confident in her abilities to elevate flutists to a new level while maximizing their enjoyment and appreciation of music.
